Homestay is the best way to start your stay in New Zealand, even if your plans are to be more independent or go flatting with friends. Starting with a homestay allows you to adjust to the New Zealand way of life, familiarise yourself with the transport systems and learn how to find good accommodation in the best location and at the best price. Homestay also offers you a chance to practice your English, and gives you that extra care while you settle into a new culture. All of our homestays are checked and must pass a detailed evaluation process. Homestays start at $200 per week.

Hostels
There are several hostels near central Auckland and these range from $130-$200 per week. This price does not include food. It is important to remember that while staying in a hostel offers more independence than a homestay it requires students to provide for themselves. Students apply for hostel accommodation in the same way as for a homestay. Edenz will make the placement.
