e-Business Digital Media Diploma

Students who complete the course will have developed skills in management, and digital media technical development, applicable to employment in companies with an e-business operation or aspect, or undertake further study at a higher level.

Diploma of Digital Media
(Level 6) (Subject to approval in 2007)

Requirements	Web Development	Digital Media
Any 8 papers, at least 5 from Level 6	Integrate a Database with a Website	2D/3D: Graphics and Digital media
	Build a Document Using XML	3D Modeling and Animation
	Create Dynamic Pages	Video Techniques
	Java programming & Internet	Audio Techniques
	Web Design and Multimedia	Scriptwriting
		Documentary making

Note:

Graduates of the Certificate in Applied Film and Television will be granted 3 unspecified credits for elective papers at either level.
Not every paper will be offered every semester - subject to satisfactory enrolment numbers.

Entry Criteria for the Business Diploma courses

. Academic requirements are

satisfactory completion of NZ High School or equivalent (Level 5)
or completion of an Edenz Level 5 Diploma, or equivalent
or aged 20 with relevant work experience

.English requirement is

IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent) for Level 5 Diploma.
IELTS 5.0 for Restricted Entry to Level 5 Diploma (50% load + English)
IELTS 6.0 for entry to Level 6 Diploma in Digital Media
