Our TECSOL Certificate course trains teachers to teach young students (children) how to learn English in a stimulating environment. Fun lessons means children learn quickly and fluently. Using games and songs, the teacher provides a confident environment, so that children enjoy learning English.
The course follows the outline of our NZQA registered 'Certificate in TESOL' course, and requires all the parts to be passed to award the Certificate.
- Who should consider applying for this course?
This course is suitable for non-native speakers who wish to teach in a bilingual primary school or in kindergarten in their home country. To begin the course, trainee teachers need to have approximately intermediate level English. The course will help to develop teaching skills, the management of young learners, and show how to develop resources that will provide interesting lessons for young students. Trainees own English will improve quickly too!
